It's been a long time since I read Footfall, so I don't remember the incident, but I have to ask: was that burst 1.06KT, or 1.06MT? You've mapped the former.

Same here. I'll have to dig out my copy to get better numbers.

To estimate I started with the diameter, 320 ft., assuming the pulse same loading per sq. ft. as the 10,000 ton model on pg 54 of Project Orion. I estimate 1.06 kt vs. .35 kt for the first pulse.

I'm also not sure about the exact location, both parameters can be easily adjusted.
